Gov. Holcomb Announces a Judicial Appointment for Marion County Superior Court

Gov. Eric J. Holcomb today announced Danielle P. Gaughan as his appointment to the Marion County Superior Court. Ms. Gaughan succeeds Judge Mark Jones who resigned Jan. 8, 2022. 

Magistrate Gaughan currently serves as a Magistrate Judge in the Family Court Division with the Marion County Superior Courts. She has served as a judicial officer in the Marion County Superior Courts since 2002. Prior to that she was an attorney and supervisor with the Marion County Public Defender Agency and has also been in private practice. 

Magistrate Gaughan received a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University and her law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law.     

Magistrate Gaughan will be sworn in as the Judge of the Marion County Superior Court on a date to be determined.
