Summer gardens are blooming and just in time for young artists ages 6-12 to practice the basics of working with clay. During this one-week art camp, students will sculpt toadstools, ponds, and greenery to give their gnomes and fairies a one-of-a-kind home.
Students will learn techniques for creating sculptural and functional objects using a variety of materials. Ceramic, paper-mache, decoupage, and assemblage of found natural objects (leaves, sticks, rocks) will be gathered and created to assemble a one-of-a-kind fairy garden or gnome home.
The Gnome Homes & Fary Garden workshops will run July 25-29 and cost $150. To register call Director of Education, Natalie Heath at 219/836-1839x101, or register online here.
