The Classes of 2021 and 2022 will be inducted into the Gary Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Indiana University Northwest (IUN) Arts & Science Building Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. The cost to attend the Induction Ceremony is $25.00.

To all sports fans and history buffs the Gary Sports Hall of Fame committee is happy to announce that the surviving members, save one, who is still working out scheduling arrangements, will be present for the Induction Ceremony to be held on July,29. 2022, 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the beautiful new Indiana University Northwest Arts & Sciences Building located on the corner of 35th & Broadway in Gary.
We want to see all of Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland come out to meet greet and salute these local legends who went on to achieve greatness and prominence in this country and around the world. We are Region Proud, and we hope that you are too. We hope to see you for this history making event.

The purpose of the Gary Indiana Sports Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor the coaches and participants in various athletic areas from Gary, Indiana who achieved excellence. The Hall of Fame desires to identify these outstanding individuals or groups ensuring that their contribution to Gary’s rich sport’s history is not forgotten.
