The Pulitzer Prize-nominated play "In the Continuum" is giving audiences something to think about at Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre in Evanston.
"In The Continuum" runs through Aug. 9. The production, which features two actors playing multiple parts, revolves around the lives of two Black women in different parts of the world, who are dealing with the complications and problems associated with being HIV positive. The dramatic story also delves into the topics of race, politics, sexism and various cultural themes.
Jewell Redman portrays Nia, of Los Angeles, and other characters while Tuesdai B. Perry is Abigail, of Zimbabwe, and other characters, in this dramatic play by Danai Gurira and Nikkole Salter. Both Redman and Perry are excellent in their roles as they present characters one can really feel for and care about.

"In The Continuum" debuted at Primary Stages in New York in 2005 and was later performed at Chicago's Goodman Theatre and other venues.
Audience members will easily be engrossed in this powerful production.
