
Have fun while getting fit this summer with the return of “Fitness in the Park” at Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district (5501 Park Place, Rosemont). Free outdoor fitness classes are open to all skill levels and scheduled to take place weekly on the Park’s great lawn. Beginning June 6, visitors can enjoy free yoga classes on Sundays, Zumba classes on Mondays and powHerhouse circuit classes on Wednesdays through the end of July.

Advance registration via parkwaybankpark.com is required for all classes to ensure limited capacities and social distancing. Registration for each class will be available on Tuesdays at 12 p.m. for the following week’s classes. Parking is available at Parkway Bank Park’s parking garage and is free with validation.
In accordance with the State of Illinois’ “Restore Illinois” reopening plan, Parkway Bank Park will implement the necessary wellness protocols to ensure the safety of its staff and visitors. The Park will continually monitor the guidance as set forth by the Illinois Department of Public Health and adapt procedures as necessary.
Sundays: Yoga in the Park
“Yoga in the Park” will take place Sunday mornings from June 6 – July 25, with the exception of Sunday, July 4 in observance of Fourth of July. Classes will run from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Presented by Rosemont Health and Fitness, participants are asked to bring their yoga mats to experience the benefit of yoga with Rosemont Health and Fitness’ seasoned instructors.
Mondays: Zumba in the Park
“Zumba in the Park” will take place Monday nights from June 7 – July 26, with the exception of Monday, July 5 in observance of the Fourth of July observed holiday. Classes will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Zumba classes are led by Rosemont Health and Fitness instructors.
Wednesdays: powHerhouse Fitness Classes
Beginning on June 9, powHerhouse Fitness Studio will host outdoor fitness classes Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. through July 28. The fitness classes offer a full body strength-focused curriculum with blasts of cardio. Classes are done in
circuits to keep the mind and body continually stimulated.
