Dear Neighbor:
It’s important in today’s tech-reliant world to share information amongst each other before we become victim to the newest cyber threat and attack. We will be hosting a roundtable to discuss state resources available to strengthen cybersecurity and also review new state laws that were implemented this year.
I want to invite you to join me for the first Lake County Cybersecurity Conversation on Wednesday, November 17, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (CT), at the Clubhouse of Wicker Memorial Park, 8554 Indianapolis Blvd., in Highland [get a map].
This cybersecurity event will be free of charge and open to anyone who RSVPs by Monday, November 8. To RSVP, simply reply to this message listing the name(s) of anyone planning to attend.
Among those attending and hosting this valuable event will include several local Lake County officials and representatives of the Indiana Department of Technology and the Indiana Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IN-ISAC).
Please join me for this event on November 17--and don't forget to RSVP by November 8!
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office if you are in need of assistance.
