Macerich's Fashion Outlets of Chicago, located at 5220 Fashion Outlets Way in Rosemont, will kick off its holiday festivities with the return of Santa visits at the shopping center beginning Friday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. While visits with Santa are always free, Fashion Outlets of Chicago will also offer a variety of keepsake photo packages available for purchase.

Throughout the season, pet owners are encouraged to bring their leashed furry friends to take part in the holiday cheer during Fashion Outlets of Chicago’s family-favorite Pet Nights. Every Monday evening from November 20 through December 4, cats and dogs are welcome to join their owners for photos with Santa from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Participating pet owners are encouraged to park on P2 (second level) of the parking garage to easily access Santa’s set. Pet Nights visits are held in partnership with PAWS Chicago. In the giving spirit of the season, Fashion Outlets of Chicago will donate $10 to PAWS Chicago for each Santa visit during Pet Nights.
Additionally, PAWS Chicago will host pet adoption events at Fashion Outlets of Chicago on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 2 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Fashion Outlets will also host weekly entertainment each Saturday and Sunday throughout the center, including live music, DJ sets and live performance.
Fashion Outlets of Chicago will once again invite children with special needs and their families to enjoy a Sensory-Friendly Santa Experience on Sunday, December 3 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Taking place prior to shopping center opening, the Sensory-Friendly Santa Experience will be carefully managed to accommodate guests with autism and other special needs, including necessary environmental adjustments to meet guests’ sensory challenges.
To further celebrate the season of giving, Fashion Outlets will host a winter weather clothing drive to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago. From Nov. 1 to Dec. 24, guests who bring donations of coats, hats, gloves, scarves or other winter essentials to Concierge Services on Level One will receive a $10 gift card from their choice of 10 retailers to celebrate the center’s 10th anniversary. Participating retailers include Armani Exchange Outlet, Pandora, POLO Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Vineyard Vines, Levi’s, Abercrombie Kids, Artizia, Hollister, Lululemon and Vera Bradley.
In addition, beginning Nov. 1, guests who spend $250 or more collectively at Fashion Outlets of Chicago retailers can redeem their receipts at Concierge Services to receive one adult ticket to Sparkle Light Festival at Rosemont’s Impact Field. The premier holiday destination for family fun, Sparkle will feature a brand new, completely redesigned layout for 2023, a new skating rink and breathtaking displays of millions of holiday lights alongside a variety of activities.
