It may sound early, however, this year’s Light the Night Event is being held on Saturday, November 21st and we will be displaying our Light the Night Tree Walk starting on that date throughout December. Munster’s Choice Community Council is encouraging civic organizations, businesses, school groups, faith-based groups, and more to sponsor a tree for the holiday tree walk.
Please note that due to being outdoors, the decorations must be environmentally-friendly, and we reserve the right to remove any trees that use offensive language or that detract from the festivities. There will be three awards given out again this year: First Responders Award, Choice Community Council Award, and People’s Choice Award (voted on by the public). Each winner will receive a trophy (last year's trophies are pictured).
Contest participation is only $60 each this year and trees will line the sidewalk along the southside of the Town Hall. They will be delivered the week of November 12th and participants will have a week to decorate them prior to the event on November 21st.
