With “The Bridges of Madison County” now running through Sunday, August 11, Dunes Summer Theatre announces their 4th Annual Dunes Broadway Cabaret “Romantic Journeys” with only one weekend of performances, Thursday through Saturday, August 15-17.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Steve Scott, “Romantic Journeys” features eight singers including Max DeTogne, Lili Galluzzo, Sheree Gudemann, Emma Radtke, Gabriel Reitemeier, Khyel Roberson, Peter Stielstra and Kate Turner, with musical direction and accompaniment by Andrew Flasch.
“This year’s Broadway Cabaret will include songs from such classic movies and shows as ‘Lady and the Tramp,’ ‘White Christmas,’ ‘Bells are Ringing’ and ‘Camelot,’ as well as beautiful ballads from more contemporary sources,” says Scott. “In just two hours our wonderful singers will take audiences through every romantic experience imaginable, from courtship through marriage and beyond.”
Showtimes are 7 p.m. CST (8 p.m. EST) Thursday, Friday and Saturday; Bar and concessions open one hour prior to curtain. All shows take place at Dunes Summer Theatre at 288 Shady Oak Dr, Michigan City, Ind. Tickets ($35 each, $25 four or more) can be purchased at dunesARTS.org.
