Drury Lane Theatre concludes 2022-23 Season with A CHORUS LINE

Drury Lane Theatre concludes its 2022/2023 season with the iconic musical A Chorus Line, conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, with book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Edward Kleban. Drury Lane’s production of A Chorus Line is directed and choreographed by Jane Lanier, with associate director and choreographer Frank Kliegel, and music direction by Carolyn Brady, and runs January 25 – March 19, 2023, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The press opening is scheduled for Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available by phone at (630) 530-0111 or online at www.drurylanetheatre.com.

This impassioned backstage look at the intimate lives of dancers auditioning for a Broadway chorus brilliantly combines stunning song and dance with a compelling, moving story. Beloved around the world, A Chorus Line is the ultimate love letter to Broadway and features memorable numbers including “What I Did for Love,” “One,” and “I Hope I Get It.” The iconic musical won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in addition to nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Score.

2023/2024 Season and Subscription Information

Following A Chorus Line, Drury Lane will launch its 2023/2024 Season with one of the world’s most popular musicals, Grease, April 12 – June 4, 2023, followed by the riotous whodunit The 39 Steps, June 21 – August 13, 2023. The season continues with Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash, August 30 – October 22, 2023, the magical family-favorite Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, November 8, 2023 – January 7, 2024, and the celebrated classic Fiddler on the Roof, January 24 – March 17, 2024.

Drury Lane Theatre’s performance schedule for the 2023/2024 season is as follows: Wednesdays at 1:30pm, Thursdays at 1:30pm and 7pm, Fridays at 7 pm, Saturdays at 3 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays at 2pm and 6 pm.
