Our police department and the Choice Community Council are beginning plans for this August’s National Night Out Against Crime Celebration, which is scheduled for August 2nd in the area of and around the Munster Community Pool.
The event is held each year to help promote positive police and community partnerships through a variety of both fun and educational activities for all ages such as games, prizes, a large number of booth participants, fireworks, free swimming for residents, music, food, safety information, and more.
The event has consistently ranked as one of the top National Night Out events in the United States during the past seven years (including ranking #1 in our population category in 2020).
