Disaster relief funds available for Small Businesses. Indiana businesses response urgently needed.

Additional assistance and information for all small businesses can be found via the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) website at www.sba.gov. The SBA is providing loans up to $2 million for businesses, including non-profits, hit hard economically by the coronavirus. Per the SBA’s press release issued on Thursday, March 12, the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans support small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing as well as working capital. The loans can be used to pay debts, including payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that can’t be paid because of the outbreak’s impact. Contact the SBA disaster assistance customer service center at 1-800-659-2955 (TTY: 1-800-877-8339) or e-mail, disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.

The Indiana Small Business Development Center is collecting data on behalf of the State of Indiana to provide more clarity and to work toward the ability to apply for disaster loans from the Small Business Administration (SBA). For Hoosiers to gain access to this funding, we need to collect small business economic impact data from every county in Indiana.
