The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has $300,000 in total funding available to help Solid Waste Management Districts (SWMDs) in Indiana implement waste tire cleanup projects. For counties without a SWMD, a municipal or county government may apply. Please note that only one grant is awarded per county, with preference given to SWMDs.
This webinar will cover the application process, what the funds can be used for, expense reimbursement, and reporting requirements. IDEM staff will also answer questions from participants. The application period will be open Dec.15, 2025 – Jan. 16, 2026. Eligibility is limited to SWMDs, with each receiving up to $10,000.
