On May 19th, Officer James Ghrist and Officer Gabe Isenblatter brought the police department’s “Drunk Buster” carts to St. Thomas More School in an effort to help teach their 8th grade students about the dangers of drinking and driving.
The students were each able to pedal the carts through a series of cones before having to do so again while wearing drunk driving goggles that simulate how someone’s vision would be while under the influence of alcohol.
These carts were generously sponsored by the MUNSTER ROTARY CLUB and AMERICAN COMMUNITY BANK last year.
