The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) will conclude their 49th season with “FILM FEST!” on Saturday, April 23rd, 7:00 p.m., at the Civic Auditorium, 1001 Ridge St. As a tribute to America’s premiere composer, John Williams, Music Director, Dr. Carolyn Watson will lead the Orchestra in excerpts from The Magnificent Seven, Spiderman, Harry Potter, and Star Wars, among other selections.

“I am delighted, as always, to be leading the LCSO in ‘FILM FEST!’, a family-friendly program. I know audiences will love these popular themes from their favorite movies, including music from Harry Potter, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Star Wars. Oh, and costumes are encouraged!”

The LCSO wishes to thank Dr. Charles & Mrs. Rita Hagenow for their sponsorship of “FILM FEST!”.

An instrument petting zoo for children, provided by Quinlan & Fabish, will be held in the auditorium from 6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. prior to the 7:00 p.m. concert.

Also included in this evening will be the LCSO’s plans for their upcoming 50th Anniversary to take place in the 2022-2023 season.
