Chicago Fire FC today announced that goalkeeper Chris Brady and forward Brian Gutiérrez were named to the U.S. Under-20 Men’s Youth National Team roster for a training camp in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from March 21-30.

The U.S. U-20 Men’s Youth National Team will face Argentina on Saturday, March 26, and Argentine Primera Division club River Plate on Tuesday, March 29. Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2003 are age-eligible for the 2022-23 U-20 MYNT cycle. The roster features 13 players born in 2003, six born in 2004 and one born in 2005.

It will be the first call up for Brady under head coach Mike Varas, who has called 20 players into training camp as the U.S. continues preparations for this summer’s Concacaf U-20 Championship in Honduras. The tournament will serve as qualification to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Gutiérrez joins the U-20 MYNT for the third time this cycle, after competing in a January Training Camp earlier this year, and the Revelations Cup in Celaya, Mexico in November 2021.
