BY THE NUMBERS

1 – It was a weekend of firsts for Chicago Fire FC. In the comeback victory against CF Montréal, the Fire's goals in the 84th, 90+5th, and 90+9th minutes made Chicago the first team in MLS history to win in regulation after trailing by two-or-more goals in the 84th minute or later. Additionally, with striker Hugo Cuypers’ game-tying goal in the 90+5th minute and midfielder Kellyn Acosta’s game-winning goal in the 90+9th minute, the Chicago Fire became the first team in MLS history to score both a game-tying and game-winning goal in the 90+5th minute or later.

90+9’ – Midfielder Kellyn Acosta’s memorable goal was the latest game-winning goal in Club history. He broke the previous record held by Cuauhtémoc Blanco, who scored in the 90+6th minute against Chivas USA on May 28, 2009.  Additionally, with his assist on the goal, Chris Brady recorded the latest assist by a goalkeeper in MLS history.

50 – With his win on the bench last Saturday, Head Coach Frank Klopas became the third manager in Chicago Fire FC history to reach 50 career victories. Klopas joins Dave Sarachan and his former head coach from the Double-winning 1998 team, Bob Bradley, as coaches to reach the mark with the Club.
