
Chicago Fire FC hosts Canadian side CF Montréal for the just the fourth time at Soldier Field this Saturday and the 28th time in Club history. The matinee matchup between these two teams will mark the Fire’s second home match of the 2024 season as the Club hosts its annual Kid’s Day celebration.
Coming into Saturday, the Fire are 8-12-7 all-time against the French-Canadian side, including a 6-3-3 record at home against Montréal. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT. Additionally, the match will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and will be transmitted locally in English on wlsam.com and in Spanish on WRTO 1200 AM.

99 – With his appearance this past weekend, midfielder Gastón Giménez now sits at 99 MLS appearances, all of which have been played with Chicago Fire FC. If he appears this weekend, Giménez will be the 31st Argentine-born player to reach 100 MLS appearances, and the first in Club history to reach the centennial mark.
125 – Prior to scoring his second goal in three games, midfielder Fabian Herbers reached another major milestone with the Fire. With his start in the team’s match against Columbus, Herbers became the 15th player in Club history to play in 125 MLS regular season matches in a Fire uniform. Additionally, forward Tom Barlow made his 125th MLS regular season appearance coming in as a substitute against the Crew.
13 – Saturday’s match against Montréal will mark just the 13th home match for Chicago against the French-Canadian side. Saturday’s match will be the fourth contest to take place along the lakefront since the team’s return to Soldier Field in 2020.
