Chicago Fire FC will complete the Club’s six-game road trip this week with two matches in five days. The Fire will face D.C. United at Audi Field on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. CT (WGN-TV, CFFC Live and WOJO 105.1 FM). The team will then head to Canada to face CF Montréal at Saputo Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 19, at 12:00 p.m. CT (WGN-TV, CFFC Live and TUDN 1200AM).

Wednesday’s match marks the third meeting between Chicago (6-12-5, 23 points) and D.C. United (9-10-4, 31 points) this season, with the two teams earning a 2-2 draw on July 21 at Soldier Field. D.C. United most recently earned a 1-1 draw against the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena. Ola Kamara converted from the penalty spot for his 13th goal of the season, moving within one of Seattle’s Raul Ruidiaz in the Golden Boot race.

On Sunday, the Fire will face Montréal (8-8-7, 31 points) for the second time this season. The last encounter between the two teams resulted in a 1-0 loss for the Fire on May 29 at Soldier Field. Montréal hosted Nashville SC on Saturday and were handed their first loss of the season at Stade Saputo, with Nashville grabbing a 1-0 win.

On Thursday, the Fire announced “A Celebration for All Chicago,” a week-long series of events and activations set to take place the week of Oct. 4-8 as the Club fully launches its new crest and recognizes the 150th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire and the coinciding anniversary of the Club’s founding in 1997. The celebration will culminate with “Ten/Eight: A Night at the Metro with Chicago Fire FC in partnership with Heineken” – a concert at legendary Chicago music venue Metro headline by Chicago hip-hop artist SABA. Beginning on Oct. 4, the Fire will fully launch its new crest across all owned channels and go on sale with the first round of apparel featuring the new crest.
