Chicago Fire FC will resume its preseason training camp, presented by BODYARMOR, with two additional tune-up matches in Austin, Texas this week, as the Club continues to prepare for the 2022 MLS campaign.
On Wednesday, the Fire will play its third official preseason match in 2022, taking on FC Dallas at St. David’s Performance Center at 11:00 a.m. CT. Chicago will then close out its preseason slate against Austin FC on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12:00 p.m. CT at St. David’s Performance Center.
Both matches will be closed to the public. However, Wednesday’s contest against Dallas will be streamed live on the Club’s website and mobile app. Per league rules, the live stream will only be available to fans within 75 miles of Soldier Field or Toyota Stadium.
The Club’s fixtures against Dallas and Austin will serve as the Fire’s final preseason matches prior to the start of the regular season. Chicago is scheduled to open the 2022 season on the road, taking on Inter Miami CF at DRV PNK Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 5:00 p.m. CT.
The Fire will then make its 2022 debut at Soldier Field against Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 5 at 5:00 p.m. CT, marking the earliest home opener in Club history. Tickets for the Fire’s home opener are currently available for purchase here.
