
Chicago Fire FC will continue regular season play with the final game of a four-game homestand at Soldier Field on Wednesday night versus Orlando City SC. Beginning at 7:00 p.m., the nationally-televised match will be broadcast live on UniMás, TUDN, Twitter (English audio) and TUDN 1200 AM.
Chicago (2-7-2, 8 points) earned the Club’s second clean sheet of the season on Saturday as the team topped Atlanta United 3-0 at Soldier Field. The Fire are unbeaten in its last two matches (1-0-1), scoring six goals across both games. Forward Ignacio Aliseda led the Fire as the Young Designated Player notched his first professional brace and tallied his first assist of the season.
Orlando (6-2-3, 21 points) currently stands in second place in the Eastern Conference despite falling 2-1 to the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. The team is led by Portuguese star Nani, who has six goals and three assists this season.
The matchup will be the first time that Chicago and Orlando face off this season. The two teams played each other once in 2020, with the Fire losing on the road 4-1.
In the last three matches, the two sides have accumulated 14 goals and split the games with a 1-1-1 record.
