CHICAGO (May 28, 2024) – Chicago Fire FC and Carvana today announced programming details for Pride Night, driven by Carvana. Pride Night will take place on Saturday, June 1 at Soldier Field for the Club’s match against the LA Galaxy. With kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT, the Fire and Carvana will kick-off Pride Month with a celebration of unity and inclusivity, recognizing Chicago’s LGBTQIA+ community, their contributions to soccer, and beyond.
“Chicago Fire FC is extremely excited to kick off Pride Month by hosting our annual Pride Night, presented by Carvana,” said Chicago Fire FC Vice President of Matchday Operations and Guest Experience Joey Colby-Begovich. “Along with our incredible partners at Carvana, we’ll be hosting a pre-match Pride Tailgate with sponsor booths, games, and entertainment from local artists to highlight and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and their wonderful cultural contributions.”

The Fire’s Pride Night celebration will take place during the Club’s match versus the LA Galaxy at 7:30 p.m. CT on June 1 at Soldier Field. Fans will experience a variety of activations and entertainment throughout the night and are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they don’t miss a moment of the action!
Pre-Match Entertainment
Before gates open, stop by the South Lawn Pride Tailgate, presented by Carvana, beginning at 4:30 p.m. for an array of pre-match entertainment! Hosted by DJ NOSIKE, the Carvana Pride Tailgate will feature activations including booths from Fire partners Carvana, Heineken, Buick GMC, Hyundai, Continental Tire, and Hive2o, as well as pop-ups from local community organizations; a variety of tailgate and interactive inflatable games; and special performances from the Vogue School dance group, Tony Radzik, electronic violinist and DJ, and musical artist Chanelle Tru.
Once inside Soldier Field, be sure to check out performances from DJ duo Do Not Disturb and DJ Janky and Khloe Daniels, and stop by activations from Fire partners Wintrust, Stoli Vodka, The Way Back Inn, People’s Gas, and Meridian.
Merchandise and Giveaways
The first 5,000 fans who attend the Pride Tailgate will receive the Fire’s Pride Night giveaway item – a Pride crossbody clear bag!
MLS and Adidas have once again partnered to design this year’s Love Unites Pride Top, designed by Pabllo Vittar, and will be worn by Fire players during warm-ups pre-match. To get your Chicago Fire Love Unites Pride Top, stop by the Team Store located inside Gate 0.
In-Match Entertainment and Activations
The National Anthem will be performed by the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus. Pride Night’s “Sounds of Chicagoland” artist will be musical duo DRAMA, who recently headlined the Las Vegas Pride Festival. A pre-match dance battle, presented by the Chicago Fire White Party, and the return of the halftime Lip Sync Battle are just some of the entertainment offerings that will keep the party going throughout the match!
During the match, Pride Night presenting sponsor, Carvana, will also recognize Chicago Fire Rec Soccer’s Play Proud League during a pre-match on-field ceremony. Carvana will present the Play Proud League with a $5,000 donation to help offer this inclusive space to more teams in the community. Launched in 2023, the Play Proud League was developed in conjunction with Common Goal to create an inclusive, physically, and psychologically safe space for LGBTQIA+ people, friends, and allies to compete and build community. Registration for the summer league will begin on Monday, June 3.
