Chicago Fire FC today announced the promotional schedule, along with a number of fan experiences, ahead of the Club’s home opener against Orlando City SC on March 5 at 5:00 p.m. CT. A focus for the promotional calendar will be in celebration of the Fire’s 25th season in MLS, as the Club plans to unveil exclusive content, merchandise, experiences and more to share the stories that have shaped the Fire.
To kick off the Club’s 25th season, the first 10,000 fans through the gates at Soldier Field will receive a 25th season flag, as the tradition continues for fans to wave them during player procession and after goals. In addition to the home opener flag giveaway, the Fire will be providing flags on April 16 and Aug. 21 to the first 10,000 fans in attendance.
The Club will celebrate the 1998 team that won the double, winning both MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cup, with two giveaways. The first 10,000 fans will have the opportunity to pick up a 1998 MLS Cup Champions pennant on Aug. 28. On Decision Day, the first 5,000 fans will be able to secure a 1998 Soldier Field replica.
As part of Chicago Sports Night, the Fire’s giveaway, a Fire basketball jersey, will be given to the first 5,000 fans in attendance on April 30. The jersey, in the well-known Fire red, will have the iconic Chicago stars running on the sides of the jersey, while donning the #10 in honor of the city’s newest star, Xherdan Shaqiri. June 18, the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive Fire playing cards featuring this season’s roster. On June 29, the Fire’s annual Pride Night, the first 10,000 fans will receive a pride beach towel to enjoy during the legendary Chicago summer months. Hispanic Heritage Night on Sept. 17 includes a sugar skull bobblehead for the first 5,000 fans in attendance.

Arriving at the Match
Parking: Fans are encouraged to secure parking passes in advance and can conveniently purchase and manage parking tickets for the Waldron Deck, South Lot and North Garage on Chicago Fire FC’s Account Manager that easily connects to the Chicago Fire FC App. All parking lots open three hours prior to the match and attendants can process mobile scanning.
Roosevelt Station: Brand new in 2022, the Fire have partnered with Tuk Tuk Chicago, the newest form of short distance transportation, which is a 3-wheeled electric vehicle, for fans to have free transportation from the Roosevelt CTA stop to Soldier Field. Shuttles will begin running two hours prior to kickoff. In addition, fans can transfer to and from the Roosevelt stop using bus #146 before and after the match for convenient transportation service.
Pregame and Soldier Field Experience
Burnham Downs and South Courtyard: Burnham Downs returns for its second season, a pre-match tailgate hosted by the Club outside Soldier Field’s southwest entrance near Gate 0, will open three prior to kickoff. The festivities will include various fan-focused activities, including soccer skill games, live painting, music, food trucks and a Heineken Airstream Bar for fans 21-and-over to enjoy a cold beverage. Inside the South Entrance you will find more interactives including a kid’s zone called Sparky’s Courtyard and the Second Star Pub, where fans can find Revolution’s Hazy Pitch and Heineken products.
eSports: Enjoy some FIFA at the eSports gaming station when Soldier Field gates open. The gaming zone will have PlayStation consoles and TV’s ready for fans of all ages to show their skills on the sticks. A full lounge setup, the gaming zone will have photo opportunities, couches and TV’s to make you feel like you are at home at Soldier Field. Plus, you might just run into one of the Fire’s FIFA Pro’s when you swing by the redesigned gaming zone.
Sparky’s Courtyard: Families can enjoy Sparky’s Courtyard when they enter Soldier Field for the match. A larger area this season, the courtyard comes with Sparky’s Playhouse, coloring tables and a table filled with giveaways for the Fire’s youngest fans. Located near gate 0 and gate 3, Sparky’s Courtyard will be hard to miss.
Chicago Fire FC Mobile App
Chicago Fire Mobile App – The Chicago Fire mobile app is a great place to prepare you for the match, capable of not only storing your match ticket, it can now also store your pre-paid parking passes that are purchased on Chicago Fire FC’s Account Manager. The stadium guide is a great tool for useful matchday information and now features an interactive stadium map that will assist fans with finding fun activities, stadium amenities, concession options and more.
Merchandise
A New Store: Soldier Field will open a Fire merchandise shop inside the stadium, creating an official store on game days for the Club. Located next to the Second Star Pub inside Gate 0, the team shop will be a one stop shop for Chicago Fire merchandise all match long.
Fire Merch Truck: Fans can visit the Fire’s merch truck before and after the match to find unique offerings on Club gear. The truck will be located on McFetridge Dr. at the top of the Gate 47 ramp.
Discount: All Fire season ticket holders will receive 20% off merchandise purchases by showing their match ticket at any of the merch stands throughout Soldier Field.
Tickets
All Tickets: All Fire tickets are now mobile. Mobile ticketing is the most secure, convenient, and flexible way to receive and manage tickets. Fans are encouraged to download the Chicago Fire FC Mobile App for the ability to easily manage tickets, as well as access extensive gameday information.
New Premium Seating: This season will feature a new premium seating experience, offering suites on the field next to the player tunnel and Fire player warm-ups. Tickets include an all-inclusive experience with a pre-game meal and halftime refreshments. In addition, the Fire have added more fieldside tables that are nearly sold out for the entire season. Season Tickets: As the Fire celebrate the Club’s 25th season, secure your seats for all matches at Soldier Field in 2022 by purchasing season tickets . This year the Fire’s 17-game home schedule includes visits from the likes of LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders, and reigning MLS champion NYCFC. This season, all season ticket holders receive access to The Midway on matchday. The Midway, a climate-controlled space at Soldier Field, will include exclusive experiences and access to players, coaches, and alumni. Located on the west side mezzanine level behind sections 136 and 138, The Midway will stay open until 90 minutes after the final whistle.
