Chicago Fire FC and the Chicago Red Stars today announced that the two teams are partnering to offer fans a doubleheader matchday at Soldier Field on Saturday, July 30. The Fire will kick off the day against Atlanta United FC at 4:00 p.m. CT, followed by the Red Stars’ contest against first-year National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) franchise San Diego Wave FC at 7:00 p.m. CT.
The 2022 doubleheader marks the fifth year the Fire and the Red Stars have held back-to-back matches and the first time along the lakefront at Soldier Field.
All tickets that have been purchased for the Fire’s match against Atlanta will also include admission to the Red Stars game. The doubleheader will be a single-ticketed event, with one ticket providing fans access to both games. Tickets for the doubleheader are currently available for purchase here.
The Fire will return to Soldier Field this Saturday looking to extend its unbeaten run to four games as the Club plays host to Western Conference side Sporting Kansas City along the lakefront. Tickets for the match are available here.
