
Today, Chicago Fashion Week®, a 12-day initiative across the Chicago area, announced the full lineup of events running Oct. 9-20. The event calendar includes more than 50 fashion shows and presentations, award programs, retail marketplaces, gala celebrations, educational programs and more in partnership with local fashion organizations, retailers and fashion designers during Chicago Fashion Week.
“Chicago Fashion Week will celebrate our city’s rich fashion landscape. Our mission is to bring together talent from every corner of the Chicago area to showcase the diversity of our city’s fashion –– and you’ll see that reflected in our lineup,” said John Leydon, founder of Chicago Fashion Week.

The curated roster of Chicago Fashion Week falls within six categories: fashion runway, exhibition, social, in-store, market and education. All events are open to the public, but some require advance registration or ticket purchase.

reFashioning History Exhibition

This exhibition event, which opened in June, was extended for Chicago Fashion Week and features a curated selection of the Evanston History Center’s historically significant Costume Collection and present-day work inspired by them.
