Chesterton Art Center is excited to announce Emerging Artists Society (EAS), a new initiative for local artists ages 21-35 who have an interest in meeting other creatives and gaining professional arts experiences together. The Center recognizes a need for arts programming and connection that serves this specific age group. EAS supports CAC's vision of inclusivity and building opportunities for the creative community.
“We created this new program with the hope of establishing a sense of community for these adult artists, providing a space to make creative connections with one another. Art truly has the power to bring people together, and we're hopeful that local emerging artists will feel inspired to join this new initiative” says Jillian Bridgeman, CAC Education Director, who has spear-headed this new program.
The callout meeting will be held on Thursday, March 21 from 6-8 PM at CAC. At this meeting, members will get to know each other through a series of collaborative art activities and share their creative interests.
EAS is a monthly program that meets on the third Thursday of each month from 6-8 PM at CAC. The program will work with guest artists, organize exhibition opportunities and public art projects, and offer additional professional development workshops for members.
To join, please email Jillian Bridgeman, Education Director, at programs@chestertonart.org or call the Center at (219) 926-4711.

EAS meetings will be held at the Chesterton Art Center on the third Thursday of each month.
