Canterbury Summer Theatre opens its 54th season of productions with the supernatural thriller, The Thin Place, performing June 15-18. The theatre is located at 807 Franklin Street in Michigan City.
Receiving its regional premiere, the play is authored by renowned playwright, Lucas Hnath, who has been seen on Broadway with his works, A Doll's House, Part 2, and most recently, the Tony-nominated Dana H.
In the story, Linda communicates, professionally, with the dead, who are still here, just in a different part of here, in the "thin place." She can make those who believe hear them, offering them peace and closure and meaning. Hilda, a keen listener and observer who’s grappling with loss, takes a great interest in Linda’s abilities.
