“… a dressy, glamorous night on the town…” - Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune

“A WILDLY ENTERTAINING EVENING… a dazzling parade of contortionists, acrobats, jugglers and extraordinary aerialists in a venue so intimate you can see them sweat.” - Catey Sullivan, Chicago Sun-Times

Fans of LiV Warfield and Frank Ferrante will be happy to hear they have agreed to perform a bit longer under the bright lights of the CABARET ZAZOU spiegeltent. LiV Warfield will stay on until July 2. Frank Ferrante’s last day will be August 27.

“I’m thrilled to be staying a little longer with the current show,” Warfield said. “Cabaret ZaZou is an incredible world. Excited to continue the magic with such a brilliant cast.”

Ferrante is also elated. “It thrills me to continue to perform for Chicago audiences and be part of the theater community here,” he said. “There’s no place I’d rather be.”

Warfield  is a singer, songwriter and producer, who has caught the attention of Prince, Nancy Wilson of Heart and Jimmy Fallon to name a few. In 2009, she was part of Prince’s New Power Generation and a vocalist for 3rdEyeGirl. In 2014, Warfield refocused on her solo career and delivered a successful album called The Unexpected that was executive produced by Prince. The album received rave reviews from critics, and she wowed audiences with her show-stopping performances. In January 2022, she released her new live album Live At Cafe Wha? where she again demonstrated her unique live sound with a rock n’ soul edge.

Ferrante was picked by the Chicago Tribune as a top ten performer of the year for his work in Teatro ZinZanni. His PBS TV program, Frank Ferrante’s Groucho, is currently playing nationally. He was nominated for London’s Laurence Olivier Award, New York’s Outer Critics Circle Award and won New York’s Theatre World Award. Ferrante directed Old Wicked Songs which became a Pulitzer Prize finalist for Drama and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in which he played Pseudolus. For that, The Wall Street Journal chose Ferrante as a top ten. On television, he played a speaking mime on Emmy award-winning Childrens Hospital and he can be heard on the animated series Garfield and SpongeBob SquarePants.

CABARET ZAZOU is a unique entertainment experience where raucous comedy, extraordinary live music, international cirque performances and a multi-course feast collide. The immersive variety dinner show takes place in a vintage Spiegeltent on the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Theatre District.

Under the direction of Dreya Weber, CABARET ZAZOU is a thrilling and eclectic series of acts, each totally astounding and delivered by top talent in each of their performance categories.

The dining at CABARET ZAZOU matches the elegant environment of the venue. A four-course meal, provided by Blue Plate, is integrated right into the show. Guests enjoy drinks and delicious food. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to socialize between acts.

Evening performances begin at 7:00 p.m. Matinee performances, which include a special brunch menu, are at 12:00 p.m. on Sundays. Audience members are encouraged to arrive any time after the doors open at 5:30 p.m. Those who come early can enjoy a unique champagne bar, or a full bar complete with specialty cocktails, wine and beer; and then have time to explore and relax in CABARET ZAZOU’s breathtaking lobby. Pre-show entertainment begins in the Spiegeltent approximately 30 minutes prior to showtime.
