Registration is currently open for the Bishop Noll Institute golf outing, which will benefit student scholars. This year’s outing will take place July 18 at Innsbrook Country Club in Merrillville.
Tickets to the outing can be purchased online at bnigolf22.givesmart.com. Fees are $200 per golfer or $800 per foursome. Tickets include lunch, golf and cart, drinks on the course, dinners and prizes. Guests may attend dinner only for $60.
A reduced fee of $100 is available for young alums, those who graduated from BNI in 2012 or later. Registration is open until July 13.
Sponsorship opportunities are available: $100 to sponsor a young alum, $175 to be a hole sponsor, $800 to sponsor beverages on the course, $800 to sponsor lunch and $1,500 to sponsor dinner, cocktail hour or player gifts.
Prizes that can be used for basket raffles are also much appreciated.
Pete Doherty, Bishop Noll class of 1971 and a golf outing committee member, said the event started in the 1990s as a fundraiser to support scholarships.
“The whole event is first class,” he said. Alumni should gather old friends and make the event a mini reunion and even those without a foursome, should mark their calendars. The committee will put groups together.
“A lot of friendships have been started that way,” Doherty said. “The golf outing rallies a lot of support for the school going forward. The day includes school updates from a Noll administrator and school administration and staff members volunteer and participate.”
