NIPSCO has a planned closure scheduled of the Munster bike trail from Columbia Avenue to Hart Ditch until approximately January 21, 2022. Sections will typically be closed from 7AM to 4PM.
NIPSCO contractors will be driving and parking along the trail to access the NIPSCO right of way in order to perform safety compliance work. Trail closure signs will be displayed during times that the trail is closed.
For the safety of all, we strongly urge all pedestrians and bicyclists to use alternative routes during this timeframe
