Art Barn School of Art, in cooperation with Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County, will host a one-day “Upcycled Holiday” workshop on Saturday, November 18 from 1-4pm.
Participants will use materials that might otherwise end up in the landfill to create beautiful holiday ornaments, centerpieces, or other decorations. Presented by Master Recycler and Art Barn instructor Sharon Angelina, turn your trash into treasures in this fun-for-the-family workshop. Cookies and cocoa will be served, and Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County staff will be on site to talk about other ways you can reduce, reuse, and recycle in your home and community.
This workshop is suitable for adults and children ages 6+ with a parent. Register online at www.artbarnschool.org.

Please drop off any of the following at the times/location listed above. All materials should be clean/dry/usable:
cardboard items/packaging (egg cartons, small boxes less than 6”, inserts, textured pieces)
scrapbook paper/origami paper
magazines/calendars
used holiday cards (with any address/info removed)
food cans or tubes such as pringles/oatmeal
plastic jars and bottles
yarn
ribbon
