At the Art Barn School of Art, we are thrilled to announce the return of our premier Juried Art Exhibition in its 32nd year, which draws entries from across the country. This exhibition allows us to provide a vital platform and support system for our region's working artists, recognizing their quality artwork. Community members, art enthusiasts, and local families are invited to join us on June 13, 5-8 PM. The opening reception and award ceremony includes light bites, a cash bar, and a connection with artists.
This year's exhibition highlights original works in both two-dimensional media and ceramics, bringing together a vibrant collection. The applicants this season were outstanding: we received 261 pieces submitted by 111 applicants spanning 10 states, including California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Washington, and Wisconsin. From this phenomenal pool, we have accepted 75 works by 73 talented artists into the final exhibition, which we invite you to view on display from June 8 to August 13, 2026.
With the generosity of individuals and businesses throughout our community, Art Barn is able to provide numerous purchase and merit awards for working artists in the area. Help us reach our $6,000 goal by becoming a sponsor or by donating an award for this year's exhibit.
Aside from the direct artist awards, all of the proceeds generated from entry fees, gallery sales, and donations go directly toward supporting our community educational programs and exhibitions year-round.

Art Barn School of Art is dedicated to fostering a love of art in its unique 69-acre environment in Porter County, IN. Art Barn offers a full range of art education classes for children and adults and is a venue for performances, meetings, and weddings. We rotate exhibitions every 6 weeks that feature regional artists, highlighting our community partnerships and our collection. In September, Art Barn hosts its annual outdoor Art Blitz, which engages thousands of visitors in art-making, demonstrations, and fun for the whole family.
