February is American Heart Month, a chance to learn more about how to prevent and treat heart disease. With one American dying from cardiovascular disease every 34 seconds, heart disease is the number one cause of death for Hoosiers.
This year, the American Heart Association is recognizing American Heart Month with the theme "Be The Beat." With roughly 70% of cardiac arrests occurring in the home, it's crucial that Hoosiers know the proper way to perform CPR.
