
Twenty-seven awards were presented for the 71st Annual Chesterton Woman's Club Art Show at a reception on June 8th at the Chesterton Art Center.
The Best of Show award went to Mark Vander Vinne for his oil painting "Closer Together". Patron of award was Luella DeWulf in memory of Roland V. Cline and Henry DeWulf.

First Place was given to April Kruse-Mitchell for pastel "Dunescape I", award patron Pines Village Retirement Communities.

- Louie A. Ortiz for oil "Tea Cup", award patron Tilden & Tilden, Attorneys at Law.
- Judy Crawford for oil "Working the Chain", award patron the Trivan Family.
- Lynn Buckmaster for acrylic "Adventure Awaits", award patron Serenity Spa & Salon.
Awards of Excellence went to the following:

The Chesterton Woman's Club would like to thank all the artist's that entered this year's show and the many generous patrons for the awards that were able to be presented. There were 71 artists that entered 136 works of art. Come see the wonderful pieces and support an artist by purchasing a piece of artwork.
