September is Indiana Archaeology Month! The Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology (DHPA) is pleased to share the design of the 2022 commemorative poster.
The poster focuses on the diversity of Indiana’s Late Precontact ceramics. The design highlights examples of sherds, and the maps indicate where within the state these Late Precontact period ceramics generally manifest. You can learn more about the poster design at the link below.
We thank our Division of Communications poster designer, Adam Cox, as well as all of those who have provided permission to use sherd images.
Printed posters will arrive soon, and we’ll share information regarding how to obtain posters shortly.
