The registration fee for the in-person race is $49 and $25 for children ages 12 and under. The virtual option is $44 for both adults and children. All runners will receive a 2022 finisher's medal and an exclusive race shirt pictured below . In addition, the first 5,000 in-person runners to register also will receive one reserved ticket to the September 27 game against the Philadelphia Phillies. hose who are eligible will receive their ticket via the MLB Ballpark app by September 26, 2022.
Information Regarding Running In-Person:
On Saturday, September 24, at 8 a.m. CDT, in-person runners will race through the Lakeview neighborhood before entering Wrigley Field to run on the warning track, crossing the finish line just steps away from the Wrigley Field Marquee. In-person runners will receive instant photos after they cross the finish line and runners 21 years of age or older will receive one alcoholic beverage (Budweiser, Bud Light or Michelob Ultra) courtesy of Anheuser-Busch or one Pepsi at the official post-race sponsored bars and restaurants (valid until 1 p.m. CDT Saturday, September 24, 2022).
Information Regarding Running Virtually:
For those not in the Chicago area on race day, runners have the option to run, jog or walk the 3.1 miles at their own pace and at the location of their choice.
Proceeds from the race will benefit Cubs Charities and its mission is to mobilize the power of sport to champion youth, families and communities. Cubs Charities will donate proceeds from personal fundraising to support Advocate Children's Hospital. The first 25 people to fundraise $500 by September 30, 2022 at 11:59pm will receive an autographed item by a current or former Cubs player.
