Manager Jamie Bennett and the Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed UT Christian Fedko for the upcoming 2025 season. Christian Fedko joined the Boomers at beginning of the 2024 campaign.
Fedko returns to the Boomers after being an everyday player during the 2024 season. Fedko played in 91 game where he batted .296 with 5 homeruns and driving in 50 runs. He was consistently on base, in part to drawing 60 walks, which put him T-7 in the league and second on the team behind the league leader Alec Craig. Prior to signing with the Boomers in 2024, Fedko part of a trio of players that played for the Joliet Slammers in 2023 that were part of the 2024 season including Cole Cook and Tyler Depreta-Jonhson. Christian, originally from Gibsonia, PA played collegiately at UCONN, taking them to the NCAA Tournament all 4 years.
