The Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed left-handed pitcher Calab Riedel, 25, for the 2026 season.
Riedel joined the Boomers in August of 2025 after opening the season with the Windy City ThunderBolts. He quickly became a key figure, contributing significantly during the Boomers’ 2025 playoff run.
Over the whole 2025 season, Riedel pitched a total of 76 innings, posting an ERA of 2.37 over the course of 43 games, recorded 11 saves, and struck out 95 batters.
Riedel’s return adds depth and experience to the Boomers’ bullpen for the 2026 season.
