Manager Jamie Bennett has signed Outfielder Banks Tolley for the 2025 Schaumburg Boomers season.
Banks Tolley arrives in Schaumburg after starting his professional baseball career with the Missoula PaddleHeads of the Pioneer League during the 2024 season. Banks, originally from Madison, MS, started his college baseball career at Meridian Community College, where he was an All-Conference and All-Region selection for the 2021 season. After Meridian, Tolley played in 26 games for the 2022 National Champion, Ole Miss Rebels.
Banks Tolley exploded on the scene after transferring again to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, where he produced one of the best single seasons in program history. He hit for an average of .379 with 12 doubles, 26 homeruns, and 77 RBI’s. Banks had 27 multi-hit games and 21 multi-RBI games and racked up multiple awards. He was named a Second Team All-American, First Team All-Atlantic Region, 2024 Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year, and First Team All-Conference.
