The Indiana Department of Transportation’s (INDOT) State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is Indiana’s five-year planning and construction document that lists all projects and project phases expected to be funded within five years with federal funds, as well as state-funded projects that has been deemed “Regionally Significant”.
INDOT will host a virtual meeting on May 19 to discuss some of the preliminary findings and recommendations for the state rail plan, which provides guidance on the improvement of freight and passenger rail investments in rural and urban areas throughout the Hoosier state. Federal law requires an update of INDOT’s state rail plan every four years.
The Indiana Department of Insurance wants Hoosiers to know they have another opportunity to enroll in health insurance on the Federal Affordable Care Act Exchanges (HealthCare.gov) if they missed enrolling in the fall. The 2021 regular open enrollment period ended on December 15, 2020. The new opportunity to purchase health insurance follows the executive order signed by President Biden on January 28 to reopen enrollment on the Federal Marketplace. The special enrollment period is February 15 to May 15.
