La Porte, IN - Dr. Carolyn Watson, Music Director of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) is keeping her conducting schedule filled with guest appearances this season. In addition to her duties as the LCSO’s Music Director and the Director of Orchestra Studies at the University of Kansas, she has guest conducted the Amarillo Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Austin (TX) Symphony, Lyric Opera of Kansas City and the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra as well as her long standing association with Interlochen.

The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) announced today (1/5/2022) that Hoosiers aged 12 to 15 who received their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least five months ago are now eligible to receive a booster dose following approval from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and FDA.
