Munster Police Department Seeking New Dog Walker Watch Program Participants
The Munster Police Department is currently seeking new participants for our Munster Dog Walker Watch Program. The program is held as an extension of our department’s Munster Neighborhood Crime Watch Program, and involves residents who would like to help with looking out for suspicious activity in their respective neighborhoods while they are walking their dogs.

Thousands Arrive for National Softball Association (NSA) World Series
More than 180 softball teams from across the Midwest will arrive in northwest Indiana to compete in the NSA Girls’ Fast Pitch “B” & “C” Northern World Series. Games will be played throughout the region including Crown Point, Hobart, Highland, Michigan City, LaPorte and Schererville from July 19-24.
