The U-15 Chicago Fire Academy came from behind to defeat the LA Galaxy Academy, 3-1, to win the 2024 U-15 MLS NEXT Cup at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tenn. on Sunday afternoon. Despite the strength of the Fire’s attack, the home team struck first when Facundo Torres collected a ball from Dagur Thorhallsson in the right side of the box in the fourth minute. Torres held the ball with a few touches before sending a powerful, well-placed ball into the top right corner.
