Chicago Fire FC and Major League Soccer today announced that Chicago Fire Academy U-16 Head Coach Selim Talbi was among the 22 coaches that received their Elite Formation Coaching License (EFCL) in partnership with the French Football Federation (FFF).

Initial investigation has also determined that Pastorious fell from an elevated hunting stand prior to his death. He was found approximately 30 feet from a ladder type deer hunting stand that had an elevation of 15 feet.

The Munster Police Department is now seeking monetary donations towards their 20TH ANNUAL Cops & Kids holiday shopping program.

October 16th the Munster Lions Club generously provided a $1,000 donation towards the Munster Police Department’s D.A.R.E. Program during their regular meeting at the Munster Social Center. Their donation will help to purchase curriculum materials during this school year for the approximately 2,000 Munster students who will be receiving safety instruction. 

D.A.R.E. Officer James Ghrist also provided their members with an update on the program which includes lessons for students in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade each school year. 

During the past few weeks, the Munster Police Department has received generous donations towards our D.A.R.E. Program from the following organizations: the Eads Elementary School PTO, Elliott Elementary School PTO, Frank Hammond Elementary School PTO, Wilbur Wright Middle School PTO, St. Thomas More Church, and the St. Paul’s Lutheran School TAP (Teachers and Parents).

The Munster Police Department would like to thank Munster Mustangs Hockey for organizing a great fundraiser towards our 20th Annual Cops & Kids holiday shopping program for area children in need.
