Yesterday, in response to the rapidly evolving coronavirus pandemic, the Big Ten Conference announced its decision to cancel all conference and non-conference athletic competitions for the remainder of the 2019-20 athletic year.
The American Association of Independent Professional Baseball continues to monitor the COVID-19 virus outbreak (Novel Coronavirus) and will take all necessary steps to protect our fans, players, umpires, and staffs in the 2020 season.
The health and safety of our fans, players and associates is our top priority. In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, Major League Baseball (MLB) today announced its decision to cancel remaining Spring Training games and delay the start of the 2020 regular season by at least two weeks.
