The American Rescue Plan signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021 provides for another round of $1,400 stimulus checks for each eligible individual ($2,800 for couples), plus an additional $1,400 for each dependent. These payments will be reduced at certain levels of income. Unlike prior rounds, families will now receive additional assistance for adult dependents over the age of 17.
