Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration!
Tomfoolery joins in the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with a very special event! We return to the iconic Hoosier Theatre in Whiting, IN with a stellar lineup of comedic and musical talent on September 22, 2023!
Direct from her HBO comedy special, Gwen La Roka headlines the evening of comedy! Gwen La Roka is without a doubt a rising star of stand-up. She hit the comedy scene with an explosive energy that quickly won the hearts of her audiences and led to performances at world famous comedy clubs such as The Laugh Factory, Zanies, and The Improv. Winner of the ’21 NY Latino Film Festival Latino Stand Up Comedy Competition, she is now the first Latina from Chicago to make her comedy special debut on HBO Max. Catch her now on “Entre Nos: The Winners 3” or keep your eyes peeled for when she headlines a club near you. Gwen is most definitely one to look out for.
Also bringing the laughs will be comedic sensations Jesnaira Baez and Janice Rodriguez! Both Jesnaira and Janice perform at the top comedy clubs in the Chicago area (Laugh Factory, Zanies, etc.) and they are regular performers with Las Locas Comedy. Las Locas Comedy is a Chicago showcase featuring Latina/Latinx comedians which Janice also produces!
Soundz of Santana will bring the tunes, as they not only bring the spirit of Santana to the Hoosier, but also some other classic hits to suit the evening!
