Let’s celebrate 80 amazing years of saving pets in Indiana.
This year, Humane Indiana celebrates 80 years of serving pets and their families. What began in 1941 by several local, entrepreneurial women now supports thousands of cats and dogs and injured or orphaned wildlife animals in Indiana each year.
This year, there are two great ways to participate. Choose to join us in-person on Saturday, June 12 at Community Park in Munster, IN, or participate through a virtual walk. The virtual walk option allows you the opportunity to walk on your own time, at your own pace, with family, friends and co-workers at the location of your choice!
PARTICIPATION FEE: $25.00
RAISE $50.00+ AND RECEIVE AN OFFICIAL PAWS IN THE PARK SUPPORTER T-SHIRT.
If you’ve registered for Paws in the Park and have donated or raised $50 or more, you qualify for an official t-shirt. T-shirts may be picked up at the event or on Thursday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Humane Indiana Resale & Consignment Shop located at 8149 Kennedy Avenue in Highland.
All participants will receive a doggy-bag filled with local discounts and offers through our Community Partner businesses, participation bib, and more!

Do you want to create a walking team? It’s super easy! Personalize your team name online and ask your friends, family and co-workers to join your team to help shelter pets in Northwest Indiana. Each team member may participate for a $25 fee. Team members raising $50 or more receive an official Paws in the Park t-shirt.
