This year’s Parade of Homes Tour will be a great way to tour Northwest Indiana homes without having to make an appointment.  The tour includes 20 model homes open for viewing in Lake and Porter Counties, from 12-5 Saturday and Sunday, September 28 & 29. Cities where the homes are located include: Hebron, Lowell, Cedar Lake, St. John, Crown Point, Merrillville, Valparaiso,  Portage and Chesterton.

While out touring the homes, be sure to pick up a plans magazine where you can view floorplans and learn more about the homes, the builders and members of the Home Builders Association.

“We have homes from builders in all price ranges” said Josh Blackburn, Parade of Homes Chairperson and builder, “Homes in the parade this year start in the mid 300’s and we even have luxury homes over 1.2 million”, he added.

The Parade of Homes is a highly anticipated annual event that allows the public a rare glimpse into the finest and most cutting-edge residential properties in Northwest Indiana,. Organized by the homebuilders association of NW Indiana, this multi-day showcase features a curated selection of brand new model homes, newly constructed homes, and sometimes even recently renovated properties, all open for public tours and inspection.

As visitors meander through the meticulously decorated interiors and expertly landscaped exteriors of these dream homes, they're able to experience firsthand the latest architectural styles, innovative design elements, and state-of-the-art features that define the height of modern luxury living. Each home on the Parade is thoughtfully selected to highlight the skill and craftsmanship of the local building community, presenting a diverse array of floor plans, price points, and neighborhood settings for prospective homebuyers to explore.

Beyond simply touring the homes, attendees can also interact with the builders, designers, and real estate professionals on hand, gaining valuable insights and inspiration to inform their own future home purchase or renovation plans.

For many, the Parade of Homes serves as an annual pilgrimage, a chance to indulge their inner interior design aficionado and daydream about their perfect dream home, while also keeping a pulse on the latest trends shaping the local real estate market. It's an event that captures the imagination of both seasoned homeowners and those just beginning their journey, offering a unique and immersive glimpse into the world of high-end residential living.
