Amphibian Life in the Dog Days of Summer
Saturday, August 2 | 10:00 am CT
Meadowbrook Amphitheater * Meadowbrook Nature Preserve, 109 W. 700 North, Valparaiso
Get ready to hop on over to the Meadowbrook Amphitheater for a 'ribbeting' look at the amazing world of amphibians!
Indiana University Northwest's Dr. Cortwright will be giving a 'toadally' cool presentation on local frogs, salamanders and other amphibians. Then, we'll all venture out into the preserve in search of tadpoles and salamander larvae. You'll ponder how amphibians survive in all seasons–even how they don't 'croak' from the heat in the dog days of summer.
- RSVPs are not required but encouraged.
- Restrooms will be available near the main parking lot, about 0.4 miles from the amphitheater.
